Any tin would do, but I prefer the 'toid tins because they are the correct size to hold the Mettler type long narrow spools of thread. Note #1 has a patchwork background. I've made dozens of these for my DJ friends, a tiny one for Monkey's Monkey-business, and a few special ones based on Quilted Diamonds too!
