Brush the mix onto the damaged areas in thin coats with natural bristle brush, allowing overnight before recoating. After you are satisfied with the Japanning, bake in 20-30 min cycles starting at 250 degrees. CAUTION: This should NOT be done in a gas/open flame oven! Let the parts cool completely between cycles and increase the temp by 25 degrees each cycle, up to a maximum of 350. Continue at 350 until the Japanning is fully hardened. Be sure use a liner to catch drips.
