Album Info:

To repair the Japanning, I use a mixture of 2 parts Boiled Linseed Oil, 3 parts Japan Drier, 5 parts Turpetine, and 5 parts Powdered Asphaltum. Mix all ingredients in a glass jar and let stand a few days, stirring/shaking occassionally. The 'brew' is ready when it takes 1-2 min to run off the sides of the jar.
