After scrubbing the film off it is important to make sure the piece is thouroughly dried. I start with paper towels to remove most of the water, blow it dry with a compressor, and then put in the oven set to warm for about 20 minutes. If there are still large rust deposits, place it back in the electroysis tank with the bad areas turned toward and close to the anode. Light rust can be cleaned with a soft wire brush.
