Mix about 1 Tablespoon per gallon of sodium carbonate in enough water to cover the plane. Arrange the plane and anode in the water, making sure they aren't touching. Connect the negative lead to the plane and the positive lead to the anode. Set the charger to its lowest setting and plug it in. The anode can be a simple piece of steel bar or angle iron but the welded piece I use keeps my positive lead clean.
