Loosen the 2 screws that lock the focus ring so you can turn it.

Do not loosen these screws too much. I did! I had the camera refocused right where I wanted it, put it all back together and when I took another picture the focus was wacked because I had loosened the locking ring to the point where the focus was really easy to turn. Then when i finished focusing I tightened the locking ring back down. This changed the focus radically. Had to repeat the whole process over again. I recommend loosening the locking ring slightly so you can just turn the focu
