This yarn, Clan Steward Perendale 8ply was purchased on my trip to NZ and AU. I started these socks after I had been home a couple of months and all the time I was knitting them I was remembering my trip. This is a lovely DK wt 100% wool yarn. It fuzzed up very nicely in the wash and I think these will be very comfy socks. I just love the way the colors pooled. Unfortunately, only two of the three balls I used were really superwash, so one sock has shrunk and felted to an unwearable size. :(
