This section shows my mom's sisters as they are now, plus a photo of me with my husband and two sons the day we went home from the hospital with our second son (about three months before I began this quilt). I did all the photo transfers myself. Mom loves Japan and lived there in 1946-47, so I selected the oriental fabric and came up with the kimono setting since my aunt's sent me so many wonderful photos to copy.
