I made this quilt for my Mom's 80th Birthday. Her generation is at the top, mine in the middle, my sons' at the bottom. The photos at the top date from the 1920s-40s. As you progress down the kimono, we all get older, and add pounds and kids! Each of mom's sisters sent a signature, and Aunt Mary found a 1939 World's Fair bracelet Mom gave her which we added to the quilt. 43 inches by 59 3/4 inches. Completed in 1998.
