I helped the kids make this quilt to be auctioned off for their school. They had their pictures taken and transferred to fabric, then they sewed strips of green around their own picture. I then cut each block to 6 1/2 inches, skewing them as I did so, and then put them together with the quilt as you go method. The quilt was sold at auction for $1200!
