Here is the chicken planter, cut in half vertically and electrical taped back together (duct tape didn't stick very well), turned upside down and cast. You can see the aluminum flashing box under the chicken, supporting the cast chicken. The purpose of this box is to hold the space that will be the planter portion in the cast chicken and also to prop up the chicken while it sets up.
