Album Info:

On the gravel mound to the left is a small desert tree yucca (aka) the soaptree yucca or Yucca Elata. A tree forming palm look-a-like yucca . gloriosos and recurvafolias yuccas do great in Tennessee also as tree forming yuccas. This one will survive here in z6/7 on a mound to repel our abundant rainfall. On the right end is another needle palm. The palm is about chest high and the photo seems out of scale. This palm is known as the most cold hardiest form in the world .
