This Safe Haven quilt was made by Joyce Terry. The outside border and the matching sashing is quilted outlining the motifs. I was very thankful to be able to look at Lois McLean's photos for ideas and did use a few. I also got a book from the library on "Painted Ladies" to get architectural ideas. There is more than one photo of many of the blocks because I couldn't decide whether the shadowy lighting was better than the brighter day light.
