Take a look at the eyes.. I think this deer is in ecstacy. For anyone interested in saving their roses from the deer, I did discover a very effective way at a very low cost and it actually benifits the roses. It was probably a year after this photo was taken. If you take your slivers of bath or hand soap,, soak it in water until it dissolves, and run it through a seive, put this solution into a spray bottle with enough water to allow it to spray through the nozzle. Hand spray your roses once or twice a week. I did this and found the deer would simply walk through my rose gardens without so much as touching my roses again. My rose gardens went through an amazing transformation after that.
