Album Info:
One hundred and twenty postwar RT chassis were bodied for London Transport by Cravens of Sheffield using their standard five bay design, resulting in a batch of RTs quite unlike the rest. These non-standard (but well built) buses didn't belong in LT's highly standardised environment so they were sold to other operators after only a few years service in London. Only two Cravens RTs survive: RT 1431, reg JXC 194, chassis 09611393, new in May 1949. RT 1499, reg KGK 758, chassis 09612892,
