EC 6 was one of eight AEC Reliance 590s with C49F Duple (Midlands) coach bodies operated by LT on behalf of British European Airways on the innovative 'Executive Express' service which transferred passengers the West London Air Terminal in Cromwell Road, South Kensington, direct to the aircraft on the apron (hence the roof beacon).
