Album Info:
This is 1946 AEC Regal Mk I HKL 826 which was one of a batch of single deck buses placed into service by Maidstone & District. Later converted to open top along with two others for use in Hastings. Used in this form from 1958 until the mid 1970s, eventually passing to Guide Friday and was used by them in Edinburgh, Stratford and The Cotswolds. Known fondly as 'Emily'. Only acquired for preservation in February 2001, it is seen here restored into 1958 livery as OR2. Taken at Bents Park, South Sh
