The mighty AEC Sabre with the 12.1 litre 800 Series V8 diesel engine, and stylish body by Eastern Coach Works(ECW), had been exhibited at the 1970 Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court, London. It was subsequently acquired by West London independent Best and Son, and it is seen in original condition in Ealing during the summer of 1971. The coach had a complete lack of any reference to AEC, and it was registered in Lancashire rather than Middlesex. Photo by Cliff Essex.
