Garvice Douglas' grandmother, Almeda Paralee Douglas, made this quilt top, probably in the 1920's. Lorine kept it through the years, and gave it to Ruth in 1990. Then Ruth and her mother, Lorine, quilted it. The cloth is very pretty, and it's an unusual pattern of the bear claws.
