Lorine Wyatt Douglas made this quilt for Ruth and gave it to her in 1985, before she & her family went overseas again -- this time to Paris, France. Ruth's mother knew that one of her favorite things was the butterfly, symbolizing New Life (2 Corinthians 5:17).
