Hands up anyone who has heard of the CTRC? No? The CTRC is/was as the name suggests a Traffic Research Centre, based in Cambridge and run by an enthusiast with a fleet of some seven RFs and a pair of RTs. I have no knowledge that the CTRC did any research for anyone, however in 1983, I had the opportunity to visit Oakington airfield with the owner of the CTRC. As well as giving him a hand on the day I was able to photograph the fleet. Not being prepared for this, the photo's not quite top dollar
