Album Info:
Craven RT1499 was one of the 119 Craven bodied RTs sold of by LT in 1957(one being scrapped following an argument with a low bridge, and now the chassis for RT1) From 1957 to 1971 it served as one of the staff buses with The London Brick Co. after which it was bought for preservation. This photo was taken in 1978 leaving Chiswick Works whilst hired back from preservation for driver training - 21 years after they sold it!!
