Bob got a transplant a couple of years after this, but subsequently passed away due to cancer. Whenever asked how he was, he would reply "Just peachy". When I would ask him what time the machine said he would tell me that the machine didn't talk. We miss you Bob. Kristin left the unit and is working in another hospital now in a different capacity.
