  • Bill, Took another look here, still surprises me how the barns were made and downloaded the upper structure on one of your shots here. Looks good on this screen. Thanks for the tour and for heaven's sake, congratulations are in order although three years late for me, on this Feature. ron

  • Hi Bill, can only think I did not comment on this album at feature time as I was busy loading my albums from our Colorado/Utah trip at time. Apolgies for that, I love old farm buildings as well as other old industrial buildings. Two days after yours I had an album featured from that trip, so life became a whirlwind. Just back from a Nevada trip with more ghost towns & old mines. Around end August/September time I hope to have a couple of albums loaded that are in your architectural area. Eric (UK)

  • Congratulations on your feature today. I love to take pictures of old barns, new barns, just barns in general and often wonder if they are still standing and what history they must hold. I see you have a picture of the round barn in Tipton County, Indiana but in the winter time. I have a picture of the same barn with vines on it and corn growing all around it in my "Houses, Barns, & other buildings" album if you would care to take a look. I enjoyed the slide show. Thank you for sharing. Sally - grannie0 and mamaw2

  • Bill, Wonderful photographs...brings back memories of my childhood. Believe me that was long enough ago. I find it so interesting that so many people have such and interest of old barns. Itis just not people from a certain area either. I think there is so much character with each one. I always try to picture the life gone by sometimes even write some poetry of what I think went on. I am from Southern Illinois now live on the Indiana side of Louisville, Kentucky. I find it interesting that when in Southern Illinois I was in the area for Southern Living Magzaine I move four (4) hours straight across I64 (East)and now I am in the area for Midwestern Living. Anyway, there are so many old barns across I64 every time I go to see my mother I can always write a short story. So where ever you are from, keep sending those photos to webshots so us "not so young nastaligic people" can continue to look at them. Rita C. memaweeta@yahoo.com
