I find that with the dragons you are better off in the mornings in the fall or spring. They don't seem to be out as often when I've been in the afternoon or the summer or winter months.

How did you get such a great photo? I've been to this zoo more than a dozen times and have never seen this lizard out. You must have great timing. Love your photos of san diego. Keep up the photo shoots. We need good photographers.

I work for the Houston Zoo, a nonprofit organization in Texas. We're working on signs for a new exhibit and would like permission to use your Blue Capped Cordon Bleu photo on an animal identification label. The photo would be about 6 inches by 6 inches. Thanks for any assistance you can offer. I can be reached at 713 533-6554 or ckriegel@houstonzoo.org
