  • I am curious what it is that got you so interested in barns. I think I remember you said "architect&q uot;, but why not other buildings too, why barns? Just curious.

  • Hi Bill! Good idea! This album needs some filling up though! Thanks for your kind words in my Marken album. You should see my face slowly starting glowing.... The blue cat in Marken is indeed a beauty... and it is really not mine: the impressive colours and effects etc were made bfirst of all by the one who painted it on the door. I just had to put it in my lens.... OK I take the credit for the caption, which I hope is a little bit funny in English. I would like to invite you to my 'colourful fishing boats of Tenerife'. I made it during a frenzy of half an hour, being very tired of a sleepless night because of the flight starting at a bad hour (5 oclock in the morning) and because we first had to walk in the baking sun before we found them. Those boats were just a feast to my (tired) eyes. The colours are very primary; and maybe too 'loud' for you (?). I enjoyed the boats as a "party of lines and colours". As you know I like details; some of the photo's are not recognizable anymore as boats. Greetings Anna
