Hi Sandie, you have some beautiful new additions, I have had 4 computers crashes since November and I am so behind with everyone. I leave for BC again on April 16th for 6 weeks stay, 5 weeks BC and US,then 5 days Toronto and Niagara on the way home. One of my Daughters get married on April 14th so such a lot to do. My Daughter and her daughter are due to have babies in June a week apart, so a hectic year, I hope you are well and the Family, take care hugs Ann (Chester UK)

Hello Sandie, I visited this album earlier, and I still think it is a wonderful album and I enjoy it each time I see it. Our winter wasn’t a winter at all. We only had one week with temperature below zero, but no more than -5. I am so glad to hear that your husband is stable at the moment. It sure is awful that you have to wait so long for priority heart surgery. But I am glad that viewing my pictures help to take your mind away for one little moment and give you pleasure and relief. We have also had a computer crash in January, but we managed to buy a new one before Vista was released. I am still very happy with XP, although I am still not used to its interface (my crashed pc was running on Windows ME). It is a lovely picture of the robin, isn’t it? I also have it put on as screen saver at the moment. We took a visit to the Zoo last Saturday, and this bird was singing his song long enough for me to take a few pictures of him. This was the best one. Most of the time they fly away, when you are ready to take their picture. But this time I was lucky. Wish you and your husband all the best. Kind regards, your Dutch friend, Els

Hi Sandy, First of all I congratulate with your new born grandchild. Of course you have no time left, nothing is that important in comparison with this new born baby. I am very happy for you. I hope she will grow up as handsome as the 2 girls on photo nrs. 43 and 50. Are those you other 2 grandchildren? They are so beautiful, and the pictures are gorgeous. Thanks for your gb entry in Pipi’s Place Rattery. There have been a lot of changes in the rattery too. Aragorn, Xanto, Skylar and Shanti have passed away. But Caitie, Aragorn’s daughter has given us 7 beautiful babies (3 girls, 4 boys), of which we kept Cheyenne, Minoes (girls) and Chico (boy). Her album is called With Great Joy we announce. Our Basil will probably be a father around April 2 (when all goes well). I am sorry to hear that also the other rat has passed away. That is the unfortunate thing with these animals, they live only for 2-3 years (if you are lucky). Shanti and Skylar (> 2 years) both had mammatumors and they didn’t live through the surgery. Xanto had an chin abscess that wouldn’t stop, he has been operated on it, but it came back, and at the end we have to euthanise him; he was only 1 yr and 6 months old. And Aragorn has had an ear infection that wouldn’t stop either. He became worse and worse, and died just 2 weeks before his second birthday. At least he has seen his grandchildren be born. I am not keen on hamsters too, they are not always so friendly as rats. I wish you much luck in hamster sitting next time. I was very glad to hear from you Sandie. Till next time, give your new grandchild an extra hug from me. Friendly yours, Els (evanwely/wely246)

Hi! What a wonderful album with lovely flowers, amazing azaleas!! I read somewhere you had a friend in Kajaani. I have lived in that town 4 years as a teenager. Sorry you lost touch, I also lost touch of a pen friend in Canada, her name was Diane. I sometimes wonder what became of her. Looking at albums and reading GB entries brought that to my mind. Take care, regards from Helsinki, Merike

Hello Sandie, you really have beautiful azaleas in your garden, Sandie, I love those colours. I also love the pictures of the window views of the magnolia tree. I hope you have a fun time with rat sitting, and I am so glad that you have overcome your fear through our pictures. I very much like to know how you and the rats go along when you are finished rat sitting. Yes, Vosje and Basil are real cuties and they still like to play with each other, more than with the others. The introduction of Catie to the other females is going well now, although it took its time, because Skylar and Shanti can come on a bit strong to new ones. But Caitie was protected by Amelie and Askja, that was so sweet to see, how these 2 girls come to her rescue at any time they hear Caitie peeping. Have a nice week Sandie, Els (evanwely/wely246)

Hi again Sandie, those photos of the puffins were taken from the south end of Shetland. If you have a look at the puffin album again, at the end is a snap taken from the Nasa satelite. You can get to within 1 klm using Nasa, and it gives not bad pictures. A link to the view earth from space site, is in my related links page. All the best, George

Hi, All of your albums are great, your granddaughters are so cute. Glad you like Napoleanna and Oreo's, actually Nap as we call her belongs to my sister. She came along right after we lost my Dad in 2000 and his name was Napoleon, so we named her after him. I was telling her about your album with all of the old homes, she would have a fit over the Mauve one. She spent a summer in Canada many years ago and has always wanted to go back, but has so many four legged babies now, that she won't stay away from home. Thanks for sharing about your Mom with me. It helps when others know how you feel. Plus being a catperson too!!! Have a good week. Bonnie
