Hi my dear Sam. Thanks so much for your message of congratulation on my 10th-place finish in the Roses CC. It came quite unexpectedly because there were so many great entries in this particular challenge. I'm happy for having made the top-10 list and for counting on good friends like you. Warm regards Jorge.

Hello dear Sam, thank you very much for your very nice comments on my Eiger Mount shots, warmest appreciated. These pics were taken during holidays in Switzerland, in August 2009, it was fantastic vacations. I don't ride here, the place is mainly for beautiful walks, so peaceful, no noise, no cars, no pollution... Of course, I thought to Clint Eastwood by looking at this famous mountain! I am so sorry to answer so lately, some events kept me far from WS during almost 3 months, and I have a big delay. It was a pleasure to look at your magnificent flowers shots, Sam, such profusion in your garden! My compliments for the gardener and photographer, wonderful captures here. I hope that you are very well and send to you all my best wishes, and warm regards from your friend in France, Geneviève. Oh, your new profile pic is great!

Oh, what a glorious garden you have, Sam. I am an avid gardener but have had my work cut out for me due to the ongoing drought here in Australia. My garden still looks good, considering and I love nothing more than spending time in it. Regards...Sue

Hi Sam - I grew up in northern IN, but spent 6 years of my life in grad school in Bloomington - loved the souhern part of the state. I see good memories in a lot of your work. Thanks for your comments on my Eisenhower farm album - I appreciate them very much. If you like looking at the places of former presidents, check out my Mt. Vernon album too. Thanks again. Mike

Hi Sam! Thanks for visiting my Covered Bridge album. I hadn't heard anything about one of the bridges being burned down since we live in Missouri and not Indiana. Which one was it? No matter which one it was, that is just terrible that someone would do such a thing! Your flowers are very pretty. Thanks for sharing your photos. Sharon from MO

Flowers sure are pretty in Raleigh, aren't they. My son lives there. I love the flowers at Biltmore Estate too. I've been there several times. I live about 75 miles from it. Thanks for sharing your photos. Judia

Hello, I enjoyed touring your gardens via the album; the floral pictures go along well with my current activities of looking through seed catalogs and planning the plantings for the oncoming spring and summer. Actually, I am in stage 1, where I look and list everything that looks good (usually 1/3 to 1/2 the catalog). Next is stage 2, when I total the cost and quantities and then wait for good sense to take over so I can (stage 3) pare the list down to something reasonable. Thank-you for visiting my albums and for your comments in the guestbook. I shall return to see more of your albums. Regards and God bless, Carl
