Your compliments about my photographic skills is greatly appreciated. I too have not been seriously into photography for very many years. Unfortunately we live many hundreds of miles from those mountains, that I so love to hike in and photograph, so that only once a year (during our 3 weeks of vacation), am I able to practice my composition skills. I just addded an new 70-300mm lens to my camera, so hopefully this years photos will be even better and more diverse. Thanks again, and keep up the good work of your own. Jon

My! My! Suresh what a gorgeous flower album!! You make my albums eat dust!! What gorgeous flowers and photography to top it! I bet you are a pro in this field! Iretired last year at 60. So I'm 61 now and free as a bird! My mother hails from Agra where I was born. My late father was from Allahbad - and now I'm in Lahore. I like the place. I've been to India a number of times. The last in 1978 when I visited Agra and saw the Taj. I have so many friends in Indian Railways that I remember - Railways the world over is a great brotherhood and transcends creeds, religion and cultures! I hope the present efforts continue and finally bear fruit so that we all live in peace and improved economic conditions and without visa restrictions!! Dear Suresh, I surfed on to your beautiful albums on flowers of India. I must say that the pictures are beautiful. Nice to seem someone so much interested in flowers. I would like to point out a site to you, on Flowers of India, with which I am involved: http://www.flowersofindia.net We have been going around in India and taking photographs of flowers. The idea is to have a site meant for flower lovers (and not for botanists) which has all the flowers of India, with their picture, description and local names. This project is still young. Please have a look, as your interest seems to be in this direction. We haven't had a chance to make a trip to the south yet, so haven't taken pictures in Kerala or Tamil Nadu yet, which we plan to do. Will you let us use some of the pictures of flowers which we do have on our site (with due credit, of course)?
