Dear Andre, with a w!!, Nice album, "Flowers from Gascony", downloaded #1 and #7. Do like the Water Lilies and agree in your descriptive write-up. Nicely done. The album "In the Basque Country", downloaded a pair of red doors with iron everywhere...one of these days I'll make a pair of these for my house. The doors will be beautiful, but it won't 'fit' the house like the rest of the neighborhood, but I won't care! Do appreciate your insight. Thanks for the showing and appreciate your comments in my guest book. Come back anytime. Its not raining today for once, on the southern Oregon coast. Ron

Hello! I wanted to tell you that I could smell roses when getting your pictures. I really like the pictures of the walls and fences. The textures, and I saw beauty in all of them. Thank you for such a beautiful view of nature. Kacie, Quincy Ca./USA

How enchanting your mothers garden must be -totally glorious -I can imagine the heavenly perfumes wafting through the air Particularly as I walk through that quaint little grape coloured gate and sweep past the wisteria which is just fabulous and if it is the same as mine has the softest sweetest delicate perfume -I have down loaded that photograph Andre -I think it would have to be my most favorite of all that I have viewed of yours -I also loved 59 and 64 .A lovely lovely enchanting album and tell your Mum from me her garden is much admired from the other side of the world -bye for now -Lynne

Andre, lovely to hear from you!Yes ,you have found the right Kimbolton on your map ,just a tiny wee country village !Lots of beautiful scenic vistas to enjoy wonderful growing soil and cool to temperate climate so is fantastic for one of our passions -gardening!I agree that the water lilies on pond is verging toward Monet -but it had a uniqueness about it ,I found and of course the camera does not have cateracts !!!!!!!so the clarity was there to give it a different perspective in my view.Great that you are a Rugby fan!!!!!!You can imagine the sport that has gone on and continues (arm chair following)in our home!!!!All males here are sports addicts -my husband ,in the past ,being a top Rugby League player and all sons VERY active in the sporting field! Our youngest son has just been selected in the Combined Forces Team to play in the League Tournament to be held in Russia -Great Excitement!!!!!!!!!!!So Benj will be coming home from Afghanistan and Phill off to Russia for three weeks. All are huge followers of all sport regardless of code or country.Til next time Andre ......Lynne

Andre ,I should have explained what I saw in your beautiful photo -the perfect pinkish roundness of the water lily pads showed me a perfect babe -the caressing elegant branches reflected in the pond -a mothers arms encircling her unborn child with the rhythm of the water representing the womb -isn't it amazing what the mind sees ?'til next time -Lynne

Dear Andre I have spent some time meandering through your albums and visiting your site with your sincere and touching art work.I have been thoroughly enriched by what I saw and felt -truely touched by your words and artworks .This amazes me because I am one of those whom I feel falls into your impressionist category and have found it extremely difficult to understand the abstract message -also your beautiful words of wisdom and philophasy were so far above me at times I think I was looking beyond the clouds -however for all that I felt very touched in my spirit and so I hope I have grown -maybe one day I shal grow into a true artist!I hope so.You have visited my sight and left a message some time ago -life sweeps us along rapidly at times and I have been promising myself a leisurely journey into your world and tonight I was able to do exactly that which has been wonderful and I hope my mind has been enriched by your wisdom. The photo of the waterlily pads from your mothers garden is exquisite. If anything has ever touched my heart this has -thankyou for such a tender photograph I could only surmise from the emotion that it showed to me that you loved your mother very dearly - I hope I am right-there is nothing greater than a mothers love !I have to beg to differ with you on the matter that photography in part has taken over from the artist in rendering factual visual effects .to me ,no mater how passionately a photograph is taken I find the medium cold in comparison to a painting created with the love and passion that only that creator can feel because it comes from the soul- a photograph represents a flick of a button and more often than not chance -a painting NEVER has that element of chance it is always a deliberate act.-sorry to take up so much of your time but your work has meant a great deal to me and I did so want to convey that to you.Warmest wishes from New Zealand Andre -I shall look forward to another time -Lynne

A bientôt, Chantal
