Hi, the photo of the little purple flowers that look like bells hanging is called a Fritillaria Persica. They bloom usually in April and May, like full sun and grow and average of 2 feet tall.

Art...I loved your story of the piano that you blew to pieces! We had the same thing! How could we destroy such a wonderful instrament! What would we do without the people???LOL Thank you so much for writing in my Orchard in Bloom featured album yesterday. I really appreciate it! As for this album...oh, my! I love it. The purple crocus, especially. You do a great job with all of your photos. Thank you so much for sharing. Ranae

Hello Art. this album is outstanding too. How do you do it everyone a masterpiece. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to more of your garden shots. The last one is my favorite but I think I have been deprived of green color here in the mountains. Downloaded them all for my desktop. Hope it's ok. thanks again Marietta

LOL Art>>&g t;Honestly>> ;in my life here..have rarely seen any snakes. They like to mind their own business It isn't quite the pic that is painted of this land, and besides you have those 'rattlers' in your country. No difference here, just come on over, and do not need boots to the ears.LOL!! We are a nation that is soo outdoors and into sports, so if all these snakes, we wouldnt have soo many world champions..LOL!!..Tks re pic, and I love that one of wildflowers also..and will have a good look at your photos later in week after work. Had a sneak look, and they look fab, but need more time. Take care..and 'downunder' is an awesome country...as for the snake stories..???..at least we don't have big bears??.LOL Em Aussie 'downunder'

Thanks for your comments in my guestbook. I hope the violent weather, we've been having back here lately, subsides during your visit. It will probably be hot and humid--just to remind you that your don't miss that part of living in this part of the USA. We hope to visit Oregon sometime in the future. Lots of great waterfalls out there (to hike too), I've heard. Jon
