    • Hi Leoni -- You asked "How did you handle the white patriotic prints and the cream ones?? Does it look odd to mix the two?? Or did you specify one for the background and the other for the ring??" I wasn't the hostess for this swap, but I can tell you that the backgrounds were supposed to be white or "neutral&quo t;, which translated to off-white, cream, light beige. We found that combining the two backgrounds really added to the depth and shading overall, and somehow made the colors "pop" even more. Do you have your own swap site? I'd love to learn more about your swaps .... thanks! -- Peggy

    • Hi from Atlanta: Leoni- your quilts are gorgeous. I'm have never been a quilt person at all. Yours have character that I like. Now I see that the person quilting makes the quilt designs a reflection of their own interests. Never paid attention to that before. Makes me want to take up quilting. heh heh Claudine de Nava
