Album Description:
I visited SM City recently while on holiday (our Independence Day on June 12). I'm so glad SM has gone "green" with this latest addition to their mall. A refreshing sight that competition (garden-themed Trinoma Mall across the street) gave impetus.

SM City North Edsa is the largest mall in the Philippines and the second largest in the world, having a gross floor area of 460,000 square meters. Sky Garden which opened in 2009 increased the mall's floor area from 425,000 m² to 460,000 m². The 400-meter long “Sky Garden Park” has a gross floor area of approximately 15,500 square meters. Below the Sky Garden is a transport depot for buses and added parking space for shoppers. In "The Sky Garden Park", shoppers can stroll along a landscaped and covered path, pleasantly lined with tropical trees, flowering plants, and shrubs. It stretches from one end of "The Annex" to the end of "The Block". A number of entryways leads to different parts of the mall. It is decorated with a lagoon, an amphitheater, cafés, specialty restaurants, and novelty shops. (Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SM_City_North_EDSA)
