What a delicious album. Lots of wonderful traveling to get all this great pictures. My worms probably like their banquet just as well though. The "what is that thing?" is a preying mantis egg case. We find quite a few of them in the grasses each spring as we cut them down. I actually took in 4 this spring, put them in a jar, and after about a month had these wonderful teeny tiny preying mantises. After looking our fill, put the jar on its side out in the garden. Grandkids loved them, especially Caleb , who usually finds at least one each summer. Very lovely album, Kaethi and Heinz! The photos are great and the food is presented so fancy--almost too pretty to eat! I must admit that I'm not very daring when it comes to trying all types of foods. I stick to my favorites and so does Bob! I know we are probably missing out of lots of wonderful tastes.
