Ann, I think this album is fabulous. What delicious things you have made!!! There are some of my favs here and some I have not had in a long time, like the bread pudding. Ann, yes it is glorious and so very tempting. Fortunately, it is not laid out in front of me. I am on a diet, and, indeed, it would be cruel to look at something like this and not indulge oneself. Dear Ann, You are no doubt happy in the kitchen and that shows with all these wonderful cakes, pies and just wonderful food. What I can't understand is how you have the time to do everything you do. Each and every plate of food looks delicious and the Christmas dinner I can smell in Australia. I chose a couple of favourites that take me back many years almost to another lifetime. Oh! Gosh, how I miss all the British goodies, my mouth is watering, I want all of the baked goods!! I would bake them but only 2 of us to eat them and I need to lose weight!!! Super pictures!

Hello Ann, This is the most awesome Collection of Home-made Baked Goods I have seen on WS. I have a really dear friend who originates from the U.K.[Sussex] and she is a great Cook, especially baking, making Pastry and all that comes with the making of Cakes and baked goods. It must have something to do with your Climate, you stay at home when it's cold and you learn how to cook. I have a Swedish friend and it's the same with her, she is a great Cook, they were stuck at home in the Winter and cooking was something they learned from their mothers. Oh, Ann, you remind me of a friend who lives in Norwich and all her baking. I too used to bake when the children lived at home, but with just the two of us, and me having to cut out sugar (diabetes), Mike is lucky to have a sugar-free popsicle for dessert! He might just pay you a visit! <grin>

I was going to comment on my favorite pictures in this album, like I usually do, but, honestly, they are all yummy. I love to bake and with so many kids that lived in my house over the years, got lots of practice. Neer thought of taking pictures of food..was always just a joy to eat. I am by myself now..so as I grow older, those pounds do tend to be an ongoing battle, so I put away my baking urges, once and for all.
