Très chère Kaethi, avant de répondre à ta dernière (oups, à moi maintenant de te tutoyer, et je trouve ça très agréable!), j'ai jeté un coup d'oeil sur cet album dans lequel j'écris. Merveille! Quelle fascinante découverte! Je ne me doutais pas que de tels trésors existaient! J'ai été totalement éblouie! Je compte sur toi, Kaethi pour transmettre à Henri tout mon émerveillement....et mes félicitations. Grâce à ces photos, j'ai découvert un monde rempli de "paysages" insoupçonnés. Kaethi, j'ai lu ta dernière correspondance avec un vif plaisir. Mais, ai-je bien lu? J'ai peine à croire, au nombre de voyages que vous faites, à la quantité de photos que vous publiez, sans compter toutes vos autres activités que j'ignore, que vous soyiez octogénaires? C'est absolument magnifique! Je suis dans la soixantaine avancée, et je me rends compte de ne plus avoir la même résistance ou la même énergie qu'il y a à peine dix ans! Quel est donc votre secret? Pour répondre à ta question, Kaethi, je demeure à Saint-Lambert, une petite localité sur la Rive-Sud, en face de Montréal. J'ai toujours habité dans les environs, et je travaillais à Montréal. J'aime cette ville si diversifiée et pleine de contrastes. Selon les quartiers, on passe de l'Italie à la Chine, du Portugal au Pakistan. Lorsque le printemps sera vraiment arrivé (tout est gris, morne et...sale présentement) je compte bien m'y rendre, caméra au cou, afin de réaliser des "reportages" des différents quartiers. Ah! que viennent les beaux jours! Parle-moi de Pau et des Pyrénées, pour me faire rêver un peu....Chère Kaethi, je dois clore ce message bientôt, car WS va sûrement me rappeler à l'ordre! Kaethi & Henri, please forgive me for not commenting on this facinating collection until now. The detail you show of the fossils is superb, they always intrigue me. I try to watch all the TV progs where they are shown. The minerals also interest me, I have a small collection myself from my time in Africa. I might try to photograph them one day when I run out of other subjects! LOL. Enjoyed the album. I used to enjoy finding fossils when I was young. There are a lot of limestone deposits where one could find a lot of shells. Never found a trilobite, however.

I remember being on a trip to Scotland and finding a beautiful piece of fluorite, which I had to wrap in my clothes so it could be safely transported in the suitcase! Dear friend, thank you so much for sharing with us all these treasures. Thank you very much for enjoy seeing my new album of the Swiss Alps, my ever, ever, ever favorite vacation destination. I had also visited Sion twice. The first time many years ago, walking around Barrage de la Grande Dixence. The second time a few years ago, enjoyed relaxing hikes around the Sion-Sierre vineyards. I love Valais canton and Bernese Oberland region so much. I keep remembering all those magnificent scenery, so deep in my mind. Sincerely thank you very much again and again. Big hugs. CS :)

I’m out chasing mercury emissions in the southeast. I left my camera at home it’s just too cold right now. It is always nice to see your pictures and see what you have been doing.
