Album Description:
These wooden pens are hand made by my family using a lathe. We start from a "blank" which is a piece of material about 5" long by 3/4" wide and deep. The hardware of the pen (nib, clip, twist mechanism) is a kit.

Your pens are beautiful. What a lovely gift to treasure. And your photos are quite nice too. :)

What fantastic pens you and your family make. Handmade items are a lost art now so its good to see that you are still doing this. THey are beautiful. I love seeing all the designs and even the ones not painted are beautiful because of the grains of the wood and your design. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your POTD. warmest regards from Canada, Barbara
