Album Description:
Wonders of nature fascinate us all. We have tried to instill a love and respect for all living things in our children and grandchildren. We are always on the lookout for these marvels, hopefully we will have a camera when we discover them.

As you have noticed from my messages, I am really IN to Science (naming critters, etc.) - which is why I became a Science teacher !

Yes, I am the same sort of Nature teacher as you were. My photographs get used extensively in my classroom to educate kids about being responsible with ALL life-forms. Many of the kids are creeped-out by all my snakes & spiders & such, but it does influence them none-the-less. They are much more likely to live & let live after a year with me than they were before ! My students also all know that I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons, and this impresses them as well ! Since I currently teach severely emotionally disturbed children, I think this is a VITAL part of their education !
