Bankya is a beautiful place. Once it had great parks and was a Jewel in Bulgaria, well known for it's spa baths and a place to come for rest and recuperation. Sadly, it is neglected today, through lack of municipal funds, and many property developers have moved in and destroyed it's structure. I will always remember it for it's natural beauty, and it's serene and peaceful atmosphere.
