Hello butchoh: I can't tell you how happy I was to stumble on your page. I have a set of plows that I can't identify but it looks like I might have a set of AC plows after viewing your photos. I would like to ask a couple of favors from you if you dont mind. Could you please check on your plows and see if you have the markings HTP 17A on your furrow wheel arm. HTP 237 on your colter arms. HTP 8 on your trip mechanism. HTP 140A on your axle brace on the smooth wheel side. I have been searching for about a month now to try and find out what kind of plows I have but now I think I have found them. Also could you please tell me how AC marked there plows. I have found no markings anywhere that would tell me what they are other than the numbers that I have given you. You can reach me at kyshuttlebug@yahoo.com. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Oh, one more thing. I need a colter bracket if you have an extra one that you would not mind getting rid of or selling. That is all that is missing on my plows. I am 43 years old and they were on this farm in a fence row when my dad bough this farm. I have no idea how old they are. But I pulled them out of the fence row this summer and started working with them and broke my garden with them this past Nov. 5 2003. Any tips on how to adjust them or any other information you can give me on helping to identify them would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Damon Cates
