New House pics after the paint job!

Album Description:

We just finished painting the house! I went a little darker which is out of the norm for me but I think it turned out ok.It sure does make it cozier! It's only after a week of looking at it that I can say I like it!! It took alittle while to get used to.L

  • Before I say anything else, I want to tell you that I absolutely love your wall color. I brushed my lampshade with modpodge and then poured cinnamon on it. When it was dry, I sprayed it and let it dry some more. Then I added just a light touch of light oak stain.

  • I love the color, it makes everything look wonderful. We have the same job ahead of us soon, we are going to do new carpet throughout the house and new paint throughout. It will be quite an undertaking for two "paint challenged" people :)

  • Thanks Barb but I have to give Steve all the credit. I avoided it by staying late at work!LOL I did help out a little bit in the very last stages! I told Steve he could be a proffessional painter!! I need to keep him buttered up as we have three more rooms to paint!LOL
