Oh, this album makes me sweat! It reminds me of what I intend to do with my flat and how much work it will be. I think I adapt your idea to take some pictures of my work!!! :-) Enjoy you new cozy home!!! Have a great weekend! - Galit

Your home looks beautiful! I'm writing because my friends and I have created a free website, www.housetribe.com, for showing and discussing houses all over the world, and I would like to invite you to post yours to it. It's basically about having fun with spaces and designs, and we also have a "house of the week" contest which you can enter. I hope you can join us if you have time.

I know what you're going through Jill. Our house is 235yrs old and is in desperate need of some tlc (which we're giving it at the moment) but I fear that it will take us many years to complete. Everything has to be taken back to the bone and reinstyated. Dust everywhere every day. It will be wirth all of the effort though. I wish you well with your refurbs and hope you have a dry future in your home. Craig

Gosh you have been busy, think you will need a long holiday in the Lake District to recover. Well Done. Frances

Hi Jill. My you have been very busy. Changing your windows in March was very brave of you. Looks like you did a major overhaul to me. Poor you having to suffer all that mess. Never mind it's all over now and you can sit back and enjoy your lovely new home. Are we going to see your new kitchen? Take care. Jayne x

Thanks Jill :o) To be honest, I think WHF is better because the cages are bigger and allow for more variety... but the leopards there do not lack attitude for sure! ;o) Ciao! Roberto

Hi Jill, welcome to the D-I-Y club,I can see why you haven't had so much free time lately but it's good to get it all done and looking so fresh before the better weather,I bet you are feeling so proud of your home now,it certainly is looking grand,Regards,Rod.

A major challenge Jill well documented, now we know why you have not been around much lately. Looks a lot more to me than the 'just decorating' you mentioned. It illustrates perfectly why I have always managed for us to live in new homes, but have done 3 self builds! I lived in old ones as a child & once rashly attempted to paint the kitchen ceiling (aged 14), it never got finished! Hope you are nearly finished now in time for spring. Eric

Wow, Jill! This is a lot of work, leave alone the time and the cold weather! As the say, the devil is in the details. To get the details right it must taken a lot of planning and concentration. Whatever is finished looks very good. I hope everything is done and it is a home once more to your liking. Best wishes, Suresh

Hi Jill, Wow, talk about extreme makeover. Is there anything you haven't changed? It looks fantastic so far. I love the dining room. You have a lot of patience to redo that faux panel. Looking forward to the kitchen pics next. much love Chris and Jay

Hello Jill, Your home improvement and decorating projects have turned out quite well. Your place looks lovely. The painting that you did on the wall appeared to be quite a time consuming job. It was worth it because it looks great! Everything looks very nice. Good luck with the new kitchen. Hugs, Cynthia
