I thought this was a lovely plant, just by looking at your photos but the name Clivia meant nothing so I Googled it and got to orange lily, as one of the colloquial, non-botanical names. Now I get it! You say you emigrated years ago to the US but where from?

This is a beautiful album! Clivias are one of my favourite flowers. Though they do not grow where I live; they do in the hills not far away from my home. I have a picture in the album 'Nature's Artistry' of the one grown in my home in the hills. Thanks for the kind comment in my Cambodia album. Best wishes, Suresh/India

I first immigrated from Belgium to The beautiful South Africa and had the good fortune to live there for over 36 years The Fauna and Flora there are so magnificent I had a grand and great garden with hundreds of plants I am now back in Belgium it will be 4 years on 27th and the flowers are so beautiful here also But still I miss South Africa sooo much anyone out there that knows South Africa and all the Fauna and Flora I have so many photos from there as well God bless you everyone Danièlle
