Album Description:
Pond in early August. A few more Water Lily blooms surfacing and finally seeing the floating Water Hyacinth shoot up lavender flowers. Throwing away handfuls of floating Hyacinth and Lettuce daily to keep water surface open.

Water Hyacinth & Lettuce are imported & invasive species that are a serious threat to waterways here in the Deep South. I know, my poor Pond has both & it is a serious problem for a 1/4 acre Pond !
