Hi! I love miniatures, and make up scenes with them for my miniature 3 1/2 inch Steiff Teddy Bears I call the Tiny Teddies. I don't leave the scenes set up after I photograph them, because I have no place to store them. And then I can use the items again in different arrangements. It's amazing how much time and money can be invested in each project, isn't it? No one would understand except another miniaturist. I think perhaps you would enjoy looking at my Tiny Teddies on a Tropical Beach scene that I made. If you want to visit my albums, right now I have 3 photos in my Creative Challenge album on my first page. The challenge this week is Tropical, so you may want to check it out on the Webshots Blog page. These photos would qualify. If you want to see more of my miniature photos, look for the Tiny Teddies albums and Theodore's World Tour album. Please leave me a message if you visit. I would like to add you to my friends list, so I'll send you an invitation. Thanks for sharing your work and ideas with us. Take care, Carol Jean

I tried to post a comment earlier but my computer was overloaded at the time so I had to reboot. Anyway, aside from the plastic looking palm tree the whole scene works quite well. If you would like photos of the real palms just let me know and I can go out the front door and shoot some for you! lol Hugs, Jacqui, Goddess of Chaos, GSOLFOT

What a great scene. That plastic palm tree works fine too, and so much easier than trying to make one. Corinne GSOLFOT

Love the way you achieve the effect of distance, Heather. I am gathering stuff together to do a Trinidadian scene for a recuperating friend so may be knocking on your in-box for sand tips! Sally GSOLFOT
