Beautiful photos. I'm glad to see that peole in Australia are still allowed to celebrate Christmas. Where I work, we're not even allowed putting up a Christmas tree this year. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2008! Jamie in NYC

Maybe this'll get me in the Christmas spirit, Keith! Although the recent foot plus of snow detracted from my ebthusiasm somewhat. Was fun when I was younger!! Lovely album of lights, dear. Thanks for the invite! Leslie

Hi Legend! This is definitely colourful and different. I'm not sure that I like all the different colours or not. The poor bloody cops wouldn't have been able to find home. Catch you later mate, before Christmas. Cheers Al

Hi Keith! This is certainly a spectacular light show of Christmas Decorations with a difference. The different displays totally transform these buildings and your night photography ability has again excelled. Well done! Warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.. This really is somehting to see! They look fabulous. You have put in a lot of effort to capture these images. It is like being at the theatre! Thankyou for your comments through the year, they are very much appreciated. It has not been a good year for us, I wish I had more internet to use and more actual time. However I made a big effort to post favourites in 3 a week albums otherwise I would not have picked up my camera very much this year at all. I am hoping for more precious snappin ’ time next year. Brian is home now sore and slow but recovering. Seasons Greetings to you and your family Keith and Best Wishes for a Safe and Healthy New Year 2008 big hugs and happy snappin'.. Hi Keith - This is the most unusual as well as ingenuous album of Christmas theme. I have to keep in mind, that ornaments of snowflakes and icycles would be out of place for Christmas decorations in the Australian summer... But the effect is achieved and you expertly captured it. A wonderful album. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year! - Jim

Terrific album Keith and quite a new way to look at Christmas lights which can be pretty tacky. I love night-time photography but this was a unique opportunity to catch some great shots. Well done.

Keith, the lights have been magnificient! The SA premier loved them so much he is paying to have them extended for another 2 weeks. We have been down to see them a number of times and managed a number of shots. There are 7 buidlings and Electric canvas created 70 slides in total. It takes a long time to capture them all as they display for 5 minutes each and you can only do one building at a time. I appreciate this album all the more now. We got to know the technicians fairy well in the last few weeks. I did as you said and tried F8 for 8secs, some a little longer and some a little less. There were so many poeple and it was the only way to blur some folk and children out of shot.. thanks again. Would love you to come and have a look.. hugs Susan
