Album Description:
Manila Seedling Bank along EDSA & Quezon Ave has always been my favorite haunt for plant & pot shopping.Often I'd visit the place just to check out exotic plant displays but I'd wind up with a car trunkful of green stuff, a lighter wallet & a wide smile!

Hi Maryan! I'm planning to have a wedding in Manila Ddecember of 2008. I'm getting frustrated about trying to find flowers that I can use for my wedding (which is hard, because there are really no local florists online) while i'm here in hte US. Fortunately, I found your pictures of hydrangeas on webshot. I like these flowers a lot & I'm thinking of using them for the wedding. Do you know where I might be able to get them in bulk in manila (or baguio)? thank you so much.

The Manila Seedling Bank Foundation, Inc., a non-government organization founded in 1977 as a seedling producer, is the 1st Environmental Center in the Phils. that has grown to be an organization with diversified operations. In its compound it houses the following - butterfly house; Greenhouse #1 for landscaping exhibit/herbal plants/ natural stones/ garden supplies; Greenhouse #2 for propagation of trees; Greenhouse #3 for plant tiangge/night market; pet city for birds, fishes, dogs and other animals for the house; "EDSA FLOWER MARKET" envisioned as a Bagsakan Center or main depot for flower distribution similar to Dangwa Flower Market at Dimasalang St in Blumentritt; and shops that offer the best ornamentals, orchids and bonsai plants from all parts of the country. ~~~ Taken from http://www.msbfi.com/services.htm
