There was one day, in Enderby that I got a lot of mailboxes different, like yours, and you inspired me to look in my older photos to post mine too. Thanks, that was a fun day for me.

Hi Dee..I belong to a collectors club, and what better way to display a collection, than through a camera with picture albums. Great collection..one I sure would like too, but unfortunately, BC is really limited when it comes to imaginative mailboxes.

Hi again Dee--Im back. Thanks for visiting my most recent Michigan album. I do appreciate your comments. I am a morning person too, as you can probably tell from all those sunrises. Western MI makes it easy to get sunrises though. Because it is the western-most point in the eastern time zone, I can sleep in at least till 6:30 or so and still catch the sunrise. Cant do that here in PA--its more like 5:30 here. Thanks again--and have a great thanksgiving. Mike

To have individual mailboxes is becoming more and more a rarity these days. It's neat to see the unique expresions of a fading American scene.

Hello DeeAnn, This album is delightful! I especially like the one with the bear having a mailbox in his belly. I've seen places in Manitou Springs,Colorado, where you can buy these wonderful carved bears. Apparently someone bought one and hollowed it out for the mailbox. Maybe the homeowner had a belly full of junk mail and was sending the mailman a message. Who knows?

Hi DeeAnne, This mailboxes are very beautiful..I hope they will be antique on next 20 years.I have collected Turkish,North Cyprus,Spain post stamps .When e-mail began,everyone began to use it.Therefor the stamp collecting died.After 50-60 years, nobody use the mailboxes.Your shot is very nice.Greetings from Istanbul
