Album Description:
This album is a work in progress. The first year we planted 125, next 700, 1400, and this year 1800. It is a three year wait for blooms so one has to be patient. Hopefully, we will be able to add some beauties this year, 2008, from last year's seedlings.

Now that I live in a climate where I can grow day lillies I hope to plant some. I have always loved them but could not grow them in 130 degree heat and 7% humidity. Here in Westminster near Disneyland we can grow about anything. Most of my hybrid cacti have flowers as large as daylillies or bigger, some up to 8 inch diameter.

I love your lilies, I am doing about the same thing with cacti. Hybridizing is very interesting. It takes me about 8 years to see the results of my crosses.

Thank you for visiting my pages. I have only gotten to take a quick look here and am thrilled by what I've seen. I will be back to look at everything. Your crosses are awesome. I would really like to talk to you guys about what you're doing. Hopefully I will get my 2008 pics up n the next few weeks. Really great wrk -- thanks for finding me! God bless, Diana

This is quite a farm for a retired couple. It must take a lot of daily work to keep up with it; a labor of love I guess. The soil looks great, and you are creating some lovely blooms. I can see some profitable years ahead.

You must really love what you are doing with hybridizing daylilies. Wow! So much work involved. Daylilies are some of my very favorites to grow - mostly because they grow so easily for me. Mary

Well Joan I know absolutly nothing of gardening or flowers, probably the only time I ever tread through the rows was to dig for fishing worms, what am I doing here I don't know! but I can say it was interesting viewing the pictures and getting an eyeful. Guess I'll have to stick to fishing stories, don't you think? suo much I've missed being a gearhead!

I had no idea thee was so much work to this, I just see them come up and grow, or in a vase on my home. Thankyou for all the work you do, and for this great album. Diane (Di)
