Hi Yair, I am sending you a bouquet of compliments! I used to string frangipanis up into a lei as a child growing up in New Guinea, sometimes pink, sometimes white. And they smell so lovely on a tropical evening. Happy memories. No garden is complete without a frangipani tree if one lives in the tropics or sub-tropics. They can even handle a wee bit of a frost, surprisingly. Blessings.

Hello Yair, these pictures are really so beautiful. I enjoyed them very much. From a gb message that Jill (Jillbatchelor2) wrote above I learned that you are about to take a trip to Iceland soon. I am very curious how you will find this country. We were there twice (1997 and 1999) and we did love it very much. Nature is awesome. I did not have a digital camera then, so the pictures in the 3 WS albums of Iceland are not of high quality. Hope you will have nice weather, the weather overthere can change very rapidly. Hi Yair, this was a delightful album to view! Great colors, and I can almost smell the flowers. Thanks for sharing. And belated thanks for your kind comments in our albums from Australia. We've been back for three weeks, and I still have more to post, sometime. We don't dive, either...the underwater photos were taken from the surface while snorkeling. Yair, Plumeria are grown here in the states in pots for the most part. Plumeria can't take temperatures below 32 for any length of time so putting them up for the Winter is important. I have over 200 and my husband and I plant them in the yard every Spring and dig them every Fall and store them bare root for the Winter. It is getting too hard for us now as we get older and we will probably just start leaving them in pots as most of the People in the Plumeria Society here do. Your photos are great. Just think of the great shots you could get at Dean Conklin Plumeria Grove in Koko Crater. http://www.botany.hawaii.edu/faculty/bridges/plumeria/plumeria.htm The trees are huge there and the smell is Awesome. Hiya Yair! The frangipani (sounds nicely exotic) has one of the most intoxicating scents and remind me of two places: of course Hawaii and then Singapore. Every morning when exercising in Singapore in the stiffling heat and humidity of the morning 30C/95F and 100%, first thing I do is rollerblade past the frangipani tree and pick a flower and periodically smell it (one reason was not to faint in the heat :D) the smell just made my day. When coming home I'd place it in a glass bowl with some water and it would continue to scent the apartment all day! A beautiful album of a wonderful exotic treasure, Yair, it just brings back floods of memeories for me :D. Btw, when flying over Iceland I noticed, no Yair, did you change your mind???
